Who is JP Tanner?

My journey as a designer started in architecture and urban design—which formed the foundations for my current work in the digital space. Great designs are the manifested results of understanding how people interact with a building, a website, or a digital product. The beginning of a great design starts with observation, asking questions, and a learner's mindset.

Every day is an opportunity to create something that positively affects another person's life. I truly believe, I have a responsibility to the people whom I design for, to create something that adds to their quality of life, through a smile, a feeling of reassurance, or confidence in a moment that could otherwise be stressful.

In my spare time, you can find me with my two amazing daughters and a wonderful wife of 18 years. I've also been experimenting with 3D Modeling and printing lately. And I'll jump at any chance I get to take my Harbour surfboard to the ocean.
